Regional Homeland Security Oversight Committee in 2007 approved funding for a Mobile Command and Communications Vehicle to be utilized  in our region. This unit is maintained by the Howell County Sheriff's Office and the West Plains Fire Department and is housed at West Plains Fire Station #2.
